Analysis of Storage Effects in the Recirculation Zone Based on the Junction Angle of Channel Confluence

In this study, numerical simulations using the Environmental Fluid Dynamics Code model were conducted to elucidate effects of flow structures in recirculation zone on solute storage based junction angle. Numerical performed at a angle 30° 90° with momentum flux ratio 1.62. The simulation results revealed that an increase caused length and width strengthened development helical motion. motion increased vertical gradient mixing layer metric dosage curves. accumulated as zone, which formed long tail concentration interaction between affected transverse mixing, such dispersion had positive relationship intensity negative size. Transverse exhibited inverse mass exchange rate zone. These indicate is replaced by due strongly developed zones.
